I cant be the only one confused about the (secretly filmed?) interview with a person who was said to be Shamsul Huq Nannu, a witness in the Motiur Rahman Nizami war crimes trial - and how he was supposedly intimidated to give evidence to the international crimes tribunal. As you will recall it first came to light in the Daily Telegraph in the UK which ran an article on it. Subsequently, a person who said that he was in fact the real Nannu, looking rather different from the person in the video, gave a press conference in which he denied that he had ever given an interview. Now another interview has surfaced that seems to strongly suggest that in fact the person who gave the video interview was Nannu. This shows 'Nannu' speaking to ICT prosecutors - and he looks extremely like the Nannu who gave the video interview (rather than the one in the press conference). I dont know if this means that the Nannu who gave the press conference is a completely different person or has changed his appearance, This of course may not be the end of the story, but it does appear that the Daily Telegraph story (which, for purposes of full disclosure, I should say I sometimes write for - though I did not write this story!) was right in publishing the article. Though perhaps this is not the end of the story, and some more videos will emerge. Who knows? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63mJ503MyRQ
